* When did it become a bad thing to question the media on how they cover things? A free press means questioning everything.
* It is obvious that a whole generation does not understand the difference between opinion and reporting. That is not necessarily the fault of the public. Look deeper.
* Some reports have it that Juan Williams was forced out by Greg Gutfeld. The media will eat up that angle no matter if true or not.
* When it comes to fake stuff we see daily, how about those medicinal commercials?
* Sports is becoming too niche for its own good.
* There used to be a term, "The Proctor and Gamble" look when it came to TV commercials.

* The Oscars need to find its audience again. Yes, it matters. The movies are a product and the awards sell that product. And it usually means it is selling what is good about Hollywood and filmmaking. Ignore the other movie award shows, but this one should stand alone and on its own.
* Some bad movies will benefit from the re-opening of theaters and there is nothing wrong with that. Movies are escapism and that is being lost at times.
* Fox News has cleaned up a bit since the election with departures. Juan Williams will still work at the local Fox in D.C. Now, Donna Brazille is out. She is heading to ABC. See here.
* "Friends" aired on NBC during its run. The reunion should have been there as well.
Yes, radio has formats and even one in which you like can overplay songs. They have a playlist to follow us does Top 40.
* It feels the music business pushed certain songs on us even if they really sucked. Play it enough and it sucks less, I guess.
* There is a huge difference between an oldies station and classic rock.
* Car radios used to be the place for AM, especially. My guess is that AM radio still thrives there.
* Note: the Amazon deal for MGM does not include many of the classic films. The history of that studio and selling of its properties is a long one. In a nutshell, the deal DOES not include all James Bond movies nor does in include "Gone With the Wind" of "The Wizard of Oz." That is a good thing.
* A podcast is radio. And when will too much be too much with these?
* The iHeart Radio Awards ratings were terrible as was "Red Nose Day." See here.
* Blaming the pandemic on low TV ratings is an odd one considering more people were stuck at home. There is another reason for the tanking of the ratings. And if the younger viewers are not watching why cater to them with ads, etc.

* That this Brood of cicadas are not going to emerge everywhere and not even as much as others have in past, geographically speaking. However, that has not stopped the media of overplaying it.
* Even fact-checkers let bias in. It is hard not to do that so be honest about it.
* Stamp prices going up. Get ready for the wide range of opinions. People will be postal experts now.
* Rising prices do dent your home budgets. And gas is the worse.
* For the record, it is now safe to talk about UFOs. Art Bell did that for years. And Coast to Coast Am thrives still today.
